Cinematographers spend hours, sometimes days trying to get the perfect lighting and position so they end up with the perfect shot. There is a horizontal depiction of characters and continuous use of two-shots and medium-shots that balance the protagonism of every character as a driving force.
Cinematography is a lot more precise than what a lot of people think.
